Don’t care about fat chips Don’t talk of your thin lips Don’t count on the worst tips Don’t have a shit fit You should better stop laughing The losers get nothing They fly with just one wing As sexy as a phone ring Open your mind Take a look at your timeline The day of your birth is just a point of no return Why are you so stupid now You just live to follow a blinding instant light Don’t care about money There’s not enough, honey Try to beat them, it’s funny They laugh at you like Bugs Bunny
2.
You shouldn’t mourn when the day begins to fall Oh no! The night is warm You shouldn’t burn down the house where you were born Oh no! You’ll find no home Don’t be afraid of the darkness all around Oh no! Don’t be afraid of the beauty all around Oh no! Let the beauty grow Let the beauty grow instead You shouldn’t murder the one they call 'your dad' Oh no! There’s no way out You shouldn’t talk too much like all the others do Oh no! It bores them all Don’t be afraid of another lonely night Oh no! Don’t be afraid of the beauty all around Oh no! You shouldn’t ask me, 'what will happen now?' Oh no! I don’t know Find new friends and settle down You should forget me now Oh well! I don’t mind …

Under Attack 04:03
Poor boy, you know the big lie Tough guy and father’s son Don’t trust the men behind you One swipe and you’re gone Can’t you see it’s over Your brilliant life stands under attack You are the only, you are the only one Time to face the fact: It’s the last piece of pie Bite back! You are the only, you are the only one No one knows the truth Believe yourself. You are the best! You are the only, you are the only one Heroes are better than all of the bloody rest You are the only, you are the only one Poor boy, you know the great tales Father told you twice Don’t you forget about him Dad is right by your side Poor guy, you’ll run the gauntlet Last chance to praise the lord Did you receive the message Mother wants you back Maybe she’ll get an answer Remember: Don’t catch a cold!

Monkey Town 03:25
You woke up in Monkey Town Old man said, “It’s Monkey Town!” Shadows play, no friends at all Silent streets, his hat was tall What the hell is Monkey Town You asked that guy in Monkey Town He rolled his eyes and yelled out loud: “The monkeys say, 'There’s no way out!' ” Don’t be afraid of this town! Don’t be afraid of his frown! Let’s go back to Monkey Town Please show me your Monkey Town “It was real!”, the poor guy said “No more pills! It feels so bad!” It wasn’t real my friend

Still wake up too early There is no escape from light Hours move too slowly And the world is much too bright I try to juggle memories Ride the wave to the deepest point Try to escape from melodies But I know the tide will turn Don’t try to make much sense of this Don’t try to understand Life is too long anyway And love is much too strong Do my daily routines Let the hours waste away This is my confession: Waiting for the final day

A walk in the cold air Bohemian rhapsodies, drugs and tragedies A night and a sad affair Alternative arts and pleasure ruled their world Insomniacs on the hill A young drummer searched for Zen and played on a garbage can David B. paid the bill Blaue Reiter, a childhood gets lost by the zoo They took Berlin, artists without glory Just a few stories, I will tell you tonight It felt so cool. The whole town said, “Don’t worry!” A lot of smoke in laundries, they fought a cold, cold fight Punks and the cheapest beer Coffee and cigarettes, white bums and minarets Pubs and hidden fears Iron Curtain and another blind excess G. was in love with D. D. was a mentalist, one of them still exists They had no place to go The two of them were just bricks in the Berlin Wall

Kill the pain so I can fall asleep Fill up my pillows with sweet cream Kill my days so I can always sleep Fill up my heavens with sweet dreams Hey, hey Let me be your guest For another day Hey, hey 'Cause splendid nothingness Washes all away Now the end is coming, dear Will I overcome my fear? My day is coming near … Close the windows, chase the world away Shut down my feelings for another day Raise the veil, I’ll leave it all behind Roar of silence, end of space and time The borders in my life Will not make me stay

You can meet him in your favourite chat But take care! Because his favourite pet is the chameleon There’s no need to ask him for his name Call him 'Tom' – it’s just a part of the game He is an alien He says, “I am what you want, I’m just a real good friend! Maybe a father figure, favourite lover, all you want to see in me. It’s me.” Talk! Talk! Talk! Virtual walls will save us We tell each other our innermost thoughts Come on! Talk! Talk! Talk! Invisible walls divide us It’s as if you’ve got a fictional friend Just like an android, an android, an android, an android You can show your secret list of misdeeds You can speak to him of tragical beats But there’s no empathy He says, “I don’t take drugs, I’m just a talking machine! I’m just a generator, a creator of all you want to see. What do you see?!”

Shut Up! 03:43
Can you hear the crashing beat, my dear? Brutal vulgar moves, sex without fear. Tonight! Alright! Can you see a man as smart as me? He’s the genius of the next century. Be quiet! Alright! You won’t quit the dark red memory without any drugs. I’ve got the pills. First time. Alright! We break all rules. Come on! Let’s dance! A question of lust. I break your defence. Be mine! Alright! Shut up! Keep your head! Ghosts of fear were always by your side Shut up! We’re still not dead! I treat you. Come on! Just take my hand Shadow plays, girls on 4-inch heels Science fiction, money talks. We pay the bill. Love died! Alright! I am just your darkest fantasy Oh please, take care of your thoughts, my dear. Be nice! Alright! Baby, don’t hide your greed. Come on! Tonight!

I am connected with the white machine Absinth instead of blood in my veins Oxygen, minerals and plastic tubes My last chance to stay alive Hard times for the mad men Hard times for the freaks Hard times for new ideals Hard times for me I am connected with the white machine Longing for a chance to get free Am I paranoid? They want to murder me! Shall I kill the one who caught me? I’m back, I’m still alive Brainwashed, socialized I’m smart, I’m handsome Just a subject

about

Analogue synthesizers, tape machines and songwriting that starts out on the piano – Elias Matt & (the) Rescue Mission is old school alternative pop in a time of digitally over-compressed deafness. Matt and his colleagues from Berlin see themselves as an art project with bizarre live performances, strange interviews and unusual promotion campaigns. Their sound is influenced by the „Sheffield Sound“ of the late 70s and early 80s with bands like The Human League and Cabaret Voltaire and German electronic acts such as Tangerine Dream and Kraftwerk. That's why the band exclusively uses analog synthesizers of this era.

Electronic, analogue, immaculate – CONDITIO HUMANA 2015!

SONIC SEDUCER: "… CONDiTIO Humana is lively and outrageously good! Analog pleasure without regrets!"
ZILLO: "They have a feel for simple but catchy electronic tunes … no doubt that they will establish themselves as one of the leading bands in this music scene …“
AMBOSS-MAG.DE: "… interesting, ambitious musical work … haven’t heard something like that in quite a long time …"
